1 year contract to start. GREAT STARTING WAGE of $18- $21 depending on experience. Gas allowance. Bonuses & tips! Also good extra income when boarding screened & well behaved dogs in your home. Minimum $1hr pay raise after 3 months of good work & no sick days. Then another review & raise at 1 year.

Your job will be to happily interact with owners, pick up dogs, safely hike them in rain, sun or snow and drop off dogs in Castlegar, Fruitvale, Rossland & Trail. We are looking for mature, responsible people who have integrity and huge work ethic! CONFIDENT LEADERSHIP & CLEAR COMMUNICATION SKILLS are a must!

You will learn to handle groups of dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments ON & OFF leash. Schedule to be negotiated. 90% of time no weekends but there are some random weekend hikes in ski season where you will get extra compensation. Weekday hours are between 8:00-330 [2hikes]. Boarding is 24/7.
